The date is approaching for our festival performance of 2020! As this exciting event draws nearer, I’d like to bring a few things to your attention:
- The date of the festival is Saturday, March 7, 2020 at Scribner Middle School in New Albany, IN. Our calendar has included the date and location of this event since August, and we have discussed it in class with the students almost every day for the past two months. Hopefully, this is not a surprise to you. Please make the necessary arrangements now if you have not already.
- Concert attire includes the Red Parkview Band Polo, khaki pants, and a pair of nice shoes (preferably dress shoes).
- The CQA grade for Quarter 3 is attendance at the concert. Your student’s attendance is expected. We’re working hard to put on a good performance and need every student present to help achieve that goal!
- We will need 4 chaperones to assist with the logistics of the day. Duties would include taking attendance on buses, supervising and escorting students, etc. The link below will take you to a sign-up sheet to volunteer. Thanks for your help!
The schedule for the day is below. Please have your student present and ready to load at the correct time.

We hope to have a large audience present to support our students and their musical endeavors. There is no admission charge for this event!
